Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a filter for air conditioning in which no peeling between a fiber web and a net occurs during cleaning with a cleaner or washing with water and which can be regenerated and has large dust collection capacity and a long life.
CONSTITUTION: In a filter for air conditioning, a fiber web 1 and a net 2 are needle-punched to be integrated by interlacing, and fibers constituting the web 1 are bonded together in a three-dimensionally crimped state. Thermally shrinkable fibers are contained in the web 1, and the shrinked fibers make the peeling between the web 1 and the net 2 more difficult to be caused. Moreover, pleating increases the dust collection capacity.
