Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a filter unit which is easily assembled, changeable in size, efficient in operation and minimized in exchange time and cost, and a module type filter assembly.
CONSTITUTION: The filter unit for module type filter assembly includes a head 1 having a feed chamber 2 and a discharge chamber 3 and a casing 6 enclosing a filter element 4. The fluid flow from the feed chamber to the discharge chamber of the filter unit passes through the filter element. The filter assembly having an arbitrary number of the units is constituted by connecting the heads of the filter units.
