PURPOSE: To make an initiating gas filtering device for filtrating initiator gas used in a crew protecting device or the like of a car have constitution by which the device is easy to produce and attach.
CONSTITUTION: A filter cartridge for a gas filtration device in a form of an axisymmetric one-part cartridge is constituted of a ring 2, a backing piece 3 and filter elements 4. The ring 2 is provided with an axisymmetric lateral wall 21 having openings 22 between one flat extremity 23 and another extremity 24. The backing piece 3 surrounds an outer periphery of the lateral wall 21 of the ring 2, one end part of which is supported by flat extremity 23 of the ring 2 and another end part of which is supported by the another extremity 24. The filter element 4 is arranged between the ring 2 and the backing piece 3.
