Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cartridge of a type to be disposed within a medium line in a coupling component for medical, in particular dental coupling means.SOLUTION: A filter cartridge 1 comprises: a coupling region 3 for releasably receiving the cartridge 1 in or on a medium line of a coupling component; a medium line region 11 which extends through the coupling region 3, the medium line region 11 covering a control region 12 for controlling the flow of the medium to be passed through the filter cartridge 1 for cleaning; and a filter region 17 which is within a range in fluid communication with the medium line region 11 and is disposed in the coupling region 3 of the filter cartridge 1 outside the medium line region 11, such that the medium to be cleaned can pass through the filter region 17 longitudinally and or transversely with respect to the flow direction of the medium.
