CONSTITUTION: Two disk members 2, 3 and a substantially hollow cylindrical filter member 10 are provided. The filter member 10 is arranged between the two disk members 2, 3. A medium to be filtered is passed through the filter member 10. An opening 20 is formed at at least one of the disk members 2, 3, At least one seal member 4 is attached to the inlet pipe or outlet pipe for the medium in such a state that it is interposed in sealed state. The filter cartridge can be detached from the pipe when it is exchanged. The filter member 10 and the disk members 2, 3 are formed of a flexible thermally consumable material and the seal member 4 is also formed of a flexible thermally consumable material.
