Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject filter cloth good in dust shaking-off properties even in high speed filtering and reduced in clogging in the filtering of dust in exhaust gas.
SOLUTION: In filter cloth for a bag filter of high filterability obtained by laminating and integrating a filter layer and a support layer and having air permeability of 1-20 cc/cm2.s, the filter layer is a layer containing a polyphenylene sulfide fiber with an apparent void ratio of 40-90% and a dry heat shrinkage factor at 180°C of 3% or more. This filter cloth for the bag filter of high filterability is produced by integrally laminating the filter layer and the support layer to form filter cloth and heat-treating this filter cloth to set to the apparent voide ratio of the filter layer to 40-90% and the air permeability of the filter cloth to 1-20 cc/cm2.s.
