To provide a filter cloth for a filter press which improves a peelability of a cake formed between filtering plates.

In a filter press 1, a peeling agent 28 in a streak form is fixed on a filtration surface 10a of a filtration cloth 10 hanged between filter plates 5, 5, a cake in contact with a peeling agents 28 fixed to the filtration surface 10a of the filter cloth 10 peels off, cracks and is divided into small pieces to be discharged. Even if the cake drops off by its own weight during opening of the plates, deformation does not occur and discharge by division is possible. Also, no remaining is left after discharge, and the damage to the filtration cloth 10 and hanging materials is not caused.
