To keep high filtering flux by preventing the clogging of the surface of filter cloth for solid-liquid separation by the adhesion and growth of bacteria slime.
A fabric obtained by weaving antibacterial wire materials or a nonwoven fabric having the wire materials dispersed therein is used as filter cloth 3 for solid-liquid separation. By this constitution, antibacterial action by antibacterial wire materials woven or dispersed throughout the filter cloth layer from the surface of the filter cloth to the interior thereof can be obtained. Since antibacterial action is developed by the whole of the filter cloth layer, the adhesion of bacteria to the surface and inside of the filter cloth is prevented and the clogging of the filter cloth by bacteria slime can certainly be prevented.
