PURPOSE: To separate a liquid mixture to at least two liquid components and one moisture component by dividing a cylindrical filter device to three filtration segments, first filtering solid particles, then filtering these particles in the subsequent segments and removing the material to be filtered in the respective segments.

CONSTITUTION: This filter device is so constituted that the filter media 12 in a first chamber anchor the liquid partial component of relatively large molecule sizes at the time of supplying the liquid mixture through the inlet 26 of the first chamber. The device described above is provided with a conduit 27 for the liquid partial component as the device for removing the material to be filtered. Next, the outlet 28 of the first chamber is connected to the inlet 29 of the second chamber for the transfer of the filtrate from the first chamber to the second chamber in such a manner that the filter media 13 in the second chamber anchor the liquid partial component of the relatively large molecule size incorporated into the supplied filtrate. The filter device is provided with the conduit 30 for the liquid partial component as the device for removing the material to be filtered of the second chamber.
