A digital filter section 132 extracts a signal Y0(T) from a signal X0(T) that has been extracted by an RF processing unit and amplitude-adjusted by an AGC section 131. A signal Y'(T) obtained by eliminating a pilot component from the signal Y0(T) is generated by a pilot eliminating section 133. Meanwhile, an error calculating section 242 calculates an error ERR(T) that is a difference between a detection result for an envelope detection result YENV(T) of the signal Y0(T) and a reference value. A coefficient updating section 244 performs an estimation operation for a filter characteristic of the digital filter section 132 based on the signal X0(T), signal Y'(T), and error ERR(T). Based on the estimation operation results, each tap coefficient of the digital filter section 132 is updated.
