Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight filter device having a desired housing shape.SOLUTION: A filter device 1 has a housing 11. The housing 11 has a cap 12 and a cup 13 which can be connected and separated to/from each other by a connection mechanism 20. A filter element 14 is housed in the housing 11. The cup 13 has a metal case plate 31 and a ring member 41. The ring member 41 has a nut part 42 and an inner core part 43. The case plate 31 is connected to the ring member 41 by swaging in a rolling manner so as to wrap the inner core part 43. The ring member 41 has a first resin member 46 and a second metal member 47. The first member 46 provides at least the nut part 42. The second member 47 provides at least an inner curved surface of a leading end curve surface of the inner core part 43. When the case plate 31 is swaged in the rolling manner, the second member 47 protects the first resin member 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
