Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus which can reliably be sealed even in the case a case member and a cover are more or less insufficiently fastened. SOLUTION: In this filter apparatus comprising a bottom-closed cylindrical case 10, a filter material 20 packed in the case 10, a cover 30 having a communication hole for communicating the inside and the outside of the case 10 while covering the opening end of the case 10, and a fastening member 50 for fastening the case 10 and the cover 30, a gap is kept between the circumferential wall 14 of the opening end part of the case 10 and the circumferential face 32 of the cover on the opposite to the circumferential wall 14, and a circular elastic seal member 18 to be installed in the gap and having a wider seal width in the radius direction than the gap width in the radius direction of the gap is installed as to liquid-tightly close the gap in the radius direction at the time of assembling the apparatus.
