PURPOSE: To prevent a treating liquid from contamination caused by dissolution of metal or generation of rust even if the treating liquid is used for a long time by embedding a reinforcing metallic ring enclosed by a chemical resistant and heat resistant synthetic resin into a central cylinder of a cylindrical end plate, and forming the whole body integrally.
CONSTITUTION: In a filter element constituted of all members comprising a synthetic resin having chemical resistance and heat resistance, such as polypropylene, tetrafluoroethylene, etc., wherein a blind end plate 4 is covered on the top end of a filter medium 1 prepd. by forming a porous thin film to a chrysanthemum flower shaped cylinder, and a cylindrical end plate 5 consisting of a central cylindrical part 5a and a disk part 5b to the bottom end, a reinforcing metallic ring 9 consisting of stainless steel, etc., enclosed with a chemical resistant and heat resistant synthetic resin, is embedded concentrically to an inside of the thickness of the central cylinder 5a of the cylindrical end plate 5. By this method, a firmer bonding strength of the central cylinder to the metallic ring is obtd., and the treating liquid is prevented from contact with the metallic ring. Accordingly, dissolution of metal and generation of rust are prevented.
