Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a filter for an illumination light source having nonconventional, quite new characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: A filter is formed with multi-layer films L1-L16 on one face or both faces of a transparent substrate 10, and it is arranged on the front side of a practically white light source. The material and structure of the multi- layer films L1-L16 are determined so that the light beam having the desired color is transmitted in the front direction and a white light beam is transmitted in the oblique direction.
