Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter using a hydrophilic polymer composition containing an amine based polymer as adsorbent and capable of being used stably in a wet state.SOLUTION: There is provided a filter which is constituted by a plurality of single low swellable compositions and a binder for bonding the single with each other and in which a plurality of singles are molded with a predetermined shape by the binder. The low swellable compositions contains (A) an amine-based polymer having an amino group or a quaternary ammonium group in a repeating unit of 10 to 40 mass%, and (B) a hydrophilic polymer having no amino group nor quaternary ammonium group in a repeating unit of 60 to 90 mass% (total of the polymer (A) and the polymer (B) is 100 mass%), the polymer in the composition is crosslinked by a crosslinker (C), swelling property in 75°C water after crosslinking treatment is in a range of 80 to 200 mass% and the binder is contained at 3 to 10 mass% based on 100 mass% of the composition.
