Title:
FILTER MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3229165
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain such a filter material that hardly generates sparks when it is processed to change into an electret and is inconspicuous when it is used, by coloring the one surface of the filter material into black by using a pigment prepared by mixing red, blue, and yellow org. pigments.
CONSTITUTION: At least one surface of a filter material 1 such as nonwoven fabric or paper is colored into black with a pigment 2 prepared by mixing a red org. pigment, a blue org. pigment and a yellow org. pigment. When the filter material is used for an air conditioner or the like, the surface used as an inlet for air is colored into black so that the filter material is inconspicuous. Since carbon black, iron oxide, or the like is not used to color the surface into black, generation of sparks during treatment to change the filter into an electret can be prevented. The filter is colored by mixing the pigment with an adhesive to prepare a resin emulsion and applying the emulsion by dipping, spraying, or coating method. As for the filter material 1, nonwoven fabric, paper, synthetic resin net, and the like can be used.
