Abstract:
To provide a filter medium for a liquid filter which is composed by laminating nonwoven fabrics, and in which pressure loss is low, and which efficiently removes particles in a liquid and is superior in pleat processability.SOLUTION: In a filter medium for a liquid filter, a melt-blown nonwoven fabric and a wet type nonwoven fabric composed of fibers with a fiber diameter of 5 μm or more and having an average pore diameter of 10-70 μm are laminated. More preferably, a wet type nonwoven fabric, in which a pore diameter frequency in a range of ±20 μm from an average pore diameter of the wet type nonwoven fabric is 80% or more of the total pore diameter frequency, is laminated on a primary side. In addition, it is preferable that raw material resin of the melt-blown nonwoven fabric be polypropylene or polybutylene terephthalate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
