Abstract:
To suppress a leak phenomenon in a filter medium for an air filter containing a polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) porous film.
The filter medium for the air filter is a laminate wherein at least one PTFE porous film and at least one air permeable support material layer are laminated and the absolute value of the surface potential thereof is 0.3 kV or less. If the absolute value of the surface potential of the filter medium is set to the range of 0.3 kV or less, the formation of a through-hole caused by discharge (spark) due to the contact with a bare hand can be prevented.
