Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hollow yarn membrane module holding strength even if used in high density concn. and a concn. apparatus using hollow yarn membranes thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A large number of hollow yarn membranes 2 are parallelly arranged on the surface of a plate-shaped or cylindrical support material to be bonded thereto and the hollow parts of the hollow yarn membranes 2 are gathered at least at one ends thereof to be connected to a filtrate taking-out passage. Since the parallelly arranged hollow yarn membranes 2 are fixed to the support material, they are not damaged even if backwashing or bubbling is applied to them.
