Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press dehydrator which is free from a trouble such as creasing or meandering of filter fabric due to residues sticking to the filter fabric, and enables stably operating of the dehydrator for a long time.SOLUTION: This filter press dehydrator 10 comprises a plurality of filter plates (filters 20) to be supported movably from a pressure contact state to a separation state and vice versa, between a forward frame 11 and a rear frame 12, an endless filter fabric 14 to be so supported each between the filter plates that the filter surfaces of the filter fabric 14 are opposed to the filter plate, a drive roller 41 which runs the filter fabric 14 and a cleaning mechanism 50 for cleaning the filter fabric 14. In addition, the drive roller 41 is installed downstream of the cleaning mechanism 50 along the running path of the filter fabric 14.
