Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter press capable of increasing a treating amount by effectively utilizing four filter cloths provided in a filter chamber.SOLUTION: In a filter press where: filter chambers are formed between filter plates 10 by disposing the plurality of filter plates 10... in parallel; two sets of a pair of filter cloths 13a and 13b are arranged in each filter chamber; and filter chambers 12a and 12b are formed respectively between the pair of filter cloths 13a and 13b, solid-liquid separation can be performed by sequentially supplying a stock solution into the filter chamber 12a formed by the filter cloth 13a being one of the pair of filter cloths and the filter chamber 12b formed by the filter cloth 13b being the other of the pair of filter cloths.
