To provide a filter regeneration device of which the regeneration time can be shortened by efficiently heating a particulate filter thereby reducing power supply to an electric heater as further as possible.

A filter regeneration device 100 includes a means of movement which positions relative positions of a container 110 and an electric heater 120 at first relative positions where a surface of the electric heater at a connecting part side is located at a position corresponding to one end face 210, 220 of a particulate filter 200 in a connecting part 113 or at second relative positions where the electric heater is closer to the inside of a space 111 than the first relative positions, and the move means permits the container and the electric heater to relatively move along a direction orthogonal to one end face when the container and the electric heater are located at the first relative positions, and brings the surface of the electric heater at the connecting part side and the one end face of the particulate filter into contact with each other with a pressing force. When the container and the electric heater are positioned at the first relative positions by the move means, the electric heater can be electrified.
