Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a brake pedal structure for a vehicle where operation pedals, in particular, a position adjusting mechanism of a brake pedal can be used for other purposes than the adjustment of the driving position.
CONSTITUTION: A brake pedal structure is provided with a moving mechanism 54 to move a brake pedal in the longitudinal direction relative to a vehicle body, and a control device 92 to control the moving mechanism so as to move the brake pedal in the direction approaching to a driver corresponding to the increase of the step-in stroke of the brake pedal associated with this reduction of the hydraulic pressure when the reduction of the hydraulic pressure of the brake is detected.
