Abstract:
To provide an optical element unit with which erroneous mounting is prevented and an opening is hardly damaged.SOLUTION: Provided is an optical element unit 100 that can be inserted into and removed from an opening provided in an optical apparatus 10, comprising a first optical element and a holding member for holding the first optical element. The opening includes a first portion having a first inside diameter and a second portion having a second inside diameter smaller than the first inside diameter, and the holding member includes a third portion having a first outside diameter and a fourth portion having a second outside diameter smaller than the first outside diameter, the first outside diameter being larger than the second inside diameter. When the optical element unit is inserted into the opening while a first face of the first optical element faces a first direction, the third portion faces the first portion; when the optical element unit is inserted into the opening while the first face faces a second direction that is opposite the first direction, the third portion comes in contact with the second portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
