To provide a filter unit and a filter device that prevent foreign matter from dropping inside piping and being left therein and excellent in handling friendliness.
The filter unit 1 is provided with a cylindrical stainer 2 that removes the foreign matter in fluid and a cap 3 detachably attached to the strainer 2. The cap 3 is detachably attached to a casing and has an opening 33. The stainer 2 has a circular female connector section 22 that is to be coupled with the cap 3. The cap 3 has a circular male connector section 31 that is to be coupled with the strainer 2. The strainer 2 and cap 3 are integrally detachable relative to the casing with the coupling of the section 22 and section 31. The fluid is allowed to flow inside the strainer 2 from the opening 33 and flow outside the strainer 2 through inside the section 31 from the opening 33.
