PURPOSE: To efficiently capture impurities in washing liquids by providing a strainer with its inner cylinder core encircled with wire gauze in a pleat-shape, putting end caps on the both ends of the core, and forming a case into a cylindrical shape, wherein half of its circumferential wall is formed into such a cover that can be opened at a touch, and further providing an elastic supporter and seal material at specific positions.

CONSTITUTION: A filter for washing liquid comprises a case 20 in which a strainer 10 is provided. In the strainer 10, a wire gauze 12 is provided around the outer periphery of an inner cylinder core 11 in a pleat-like shape, while a closed-type end cap 13 and an end cap 14 with a liquid port 14a are attached to the both ends of the core respectively. And the case 20 is cylindrical and an upper semicircular member 23a of a cylindrical body 23 can be opened or closed at a touch by means of clamping locks 24a and 24b. Further, sealing materials 25 are provided on both end plates 21, 22 and the lower half of the body 23, which are in contact with each other when the cover 23a is closed, while an elastic supporter 27 is provided in the case 20 to prevent leaks of liquid, enabling also the centering of the strainer 10.
