Abstract:
PURPOSE: To early and easily discover oil leak caused by sealing failure of a filter by allowing the inward flange part of an annulac clamp to abut against the shoulder part of a diameter-expanding part formed in the opening side of a casing, and providing an oil-guiding groove lengthened in the radical direction on the inside end face in the axial direction of the inward flange part.
CONSTITUTION: The opening of a closed-end cylindrical casing for holding a filter medium 2 is covered with a setting plate 3. An annular clamp 4 is fitted to the shell part 8 of the casing. The inward flange part 4b of the annular clamp 4 is allowed to abut against the shoulder part of a diameter-expanding part 9 formed in the opening part of the casing. Further, an O-ring is interposed between the setting plate 3 and the diameter-expanding part 9. The ring nut part 4a of the annular clamp 4 is screwed in the male screw part of the setting plate 3. Furthermore, an oil-guiding groove 22 lengthened in the radical direction is provided on the inside end face in the axial direction of the inward flange part 4b. In other words, oil leaked from a sealing part is allowed to flow out in the outside surface side of the casing through the groove 22 and oil lea is discovered early and easily.
