Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance filtering efficiency by making the dimension in the diametric direction of a cylindrical filter large to increase the contact area with a liquid to be filtered, and to reduce a running cost by enabling the capture of a large amount of impurities to extend the replacing period of the filter.
SOLUTION: A support 2 is formed of panels 13, each of which has a large number of holes bored in its entire surface and also has a cavity part 20 therein, and a shaft core 11 to which the panels 13 are fixed and a large number of holes are bored in the peripheral surface of the cylindrical shaft core 11. The panels 13 are radially fixed to the peripheral surface of the shaft core 11. Then, a filter medium 3 is mounted on the peripheral surface of the support 2 in a freely detachable manner. The liquid to be filtered mainly flows to the outside through the filter medium 3, the holes of the panels 13, the cavity parts 20 in the panels 13, the holes of the shaft core 11 and the interior of the shaft core 11.
