Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a lifetime of the whole of a filter by circulating a fluid from the outer periphery to the inner periphery both in a pre-filter element and in a water separation filter element.SOLUTION: A pre-filter element 101 and a water separation filter element 201 are housed in a housing 11 having an inlet 32 and an outlet 33 for a fluid each on an end side. The pre-filter element 101 has, in a filtration function part 131, a pre-filter medium 132 which blocks the filtration function part 131 on the outer periphery side and a circulation space 151 on the inner periphery side with a blocking wall 112 as a boundary and circulates a fluid from the outer periphery to the inner periphery facing a space connected to the inlet 32. The water separation filter element 201 is arranged in series with the pre-filter element 101 through a specified gap G between it and the pre-filter element 101, circulates the fluid passing through the pre-filter medium 132 and flowing in through the gap G from the outer periphery to the inner periphery of a water separation filter medium 231 to separate water and causes the fluid after separation of water to flow to the outlet through the circulation space 151 of the pre-filter element 101.
