PURPOSE: To provide a filter material having excellent durability which realizes a large fluid amt., high clarity of filtered liquid, and high peeling property of cake.

CONSTITUTION: This material is a laminated body consisting of a filter layer of polymer porous body, a buffer layer of liquid permeating sheet, and a reinforcing layer of fiber sheet. The contact surfaces of the filter layer and the buffer layer are partly adhered to the adjacent layer all over the surface. The liquid permeating sheet of the buffer layer shows easy elastic deformation than the fiber sheet of the reinforcing layer.
