The filtering system for an aqueous emulsion solution comprises a membrane module 3, a filtration concentration tank 2, and a control means for maintaining the amount of liquid in the filtration concentration tank at a predetermined value. The membrane module and the filtration concentration tank are connected by a return pipe 14 for returning concentrate generated in the membrane module to the filtration concentration tank. A filtration concentration pump 22 and a discharge means 18 for discharging a part of the concentrate are installed in the middle of a supply pipe 13. The control means comprises a combination of a raw liquid supply pump, and a measuring instrument capable of detecting the amount or properties of the aqueous emulsion solution supplied into the filtration concentration tank.
