PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent the thrust-through of injection needles, etc., outside even if these injection needles, etc., are roughly thrown into a container by successively providing the bottom end of an inside box fixed to an outside box with an upper bottom for a lower bottom to be disposed at the outside box and supporting the upper bottom thereof in such a manner that a spacing is formed between the upper bottom and the lower bottom by a bending rib.

CONSTITUTION: This medical waste container is composed of the outside box 1, the inside box 2 and a proof bag 3 held therebetween. The outside box 1 is formed of corrugated fiberboards, has front and rear surface walls 7, 8 and right and left side face walls 9, 9 and is successively provided with a front surface wall 13 provided with a waste charging port 10 openably and closely with the front surface wall 7. The inside box 2 is formed of rigid cardboards subjected to lamination of plastic on the inside surface and is formed to a square cylindrical shape like the outside box 1. The front end of the one flap 5b constituting the upper bottom 5 of the inside box 2 is successively provided with the rib 46 to be curved slightly invertedly in two-folds. The spacing is formed between the upper bottom 5 and the lower bottom 63 by this rib 46.
