To provide a filtration apparatus which is made inexpensive and in which the temperature of a liquid chemical can be controlled.
A filtration apparatus 100 includes: a supply pump 104 for supplying the water from a supply source W; a filtration tank 102 arranged on the secondary side of the supply pump 104; a disinfector 101 including a liquid chemical tank 4 for storing the liquid chemical, and an injection pump 17 which is connected to the liquid chemical tank 4 and used for injecting the liquid chemical into the supplied water; a water storage tank 114 for storing the treated water that has been filtered in the filtration tank 102; a cooling means 8 that includes a cooling part 8a, which is connected to the secondary side of the filtration tank 102 and used for performing cooling by a part of the water passing through the filtration tank 102, and a switching valve 118 which is arranged on a flow passage between the filtration tank 102 and the cooling part 8a and used for supplying a part of the water passing through the filtration tank 102 to the cooling part 8a and stopping the water supply to the cooling part; and a control means 103 for cooling the liquid chemical when the temperature detected by a temperature detection means 119 is equal to or higher than the temperature at which autolysis of the liquid chemical is promoted.
