Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prescribed filtration capability without disordering the surface of a filtration agent with a light specific gravity by keeping water to be brought into contact with the filtration agent be like an even plane state as much as possible and utilizing an already existing filtration tower without requiring the tower to be enlarged.
SOLUTION: In the filtration apparatus, a filtration tower 1 made to be cylindrical is provided with a filtration part (r), a water collecting part 7, and a water supply part (e), and the water supply part (e) is composed of a bent pipe 5 and a diffuser A attached to an upward opening part 5a at the tip end. The diffuser A is provided with an energy-lowering part (k) to suppress the energy of upward jet water from the opening part 5a and a first discharge part 8 for jetting the energy-lowered water upward, a second discharge part 9 for jetting the energy-lowered water side-ward, and a third discharge part 10 for jetting the energy-lowered water downward are installed in the diffuser A while being layered in this order from the top.
