To maintain specified filtrating capability by detecting clogging of filters and changing water-discharging routes by controlling opening and closing of automatic valves by a measured value of discharge flow rate of liquid filtered and discharged by a filter on the downstream of a plurality of automatic valves changing a transfer liquid course of liquid to be filtered.
A transfer pipe 1 is piped into a plurality of diverging pipes inside a filtration apparatus 10 and provided with filters 3 via automatic valves 2 controlling opening and closing respectively by a controller 6. Liquid filtered by each of the filters 3 is transferred to an outlet 4 connected with a single pipe again and equipped with a flowmeter 5. A discharge flow rate is measured and its data is sent to a controller 6 and the liquid is discharged. The transferred liquid is filtered by a first filter 3a and filtered objects are accumulated in the filter 3a. A flow rate requiring an exchange by clogging of each of the filters 3 is registered as a specified value. When a measured value is equal to the specified value, the controller 6 opens a second automatic valve 2b and closes the first automatic valve 2a, allowing filtration to be constantly stable.
