Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a filtration device of simple structure, difficult to cause plugging, and capable of exchanging easily a filter cartridge without needing contact of the soiled filter by hand.
CONSTITUTION: O-shaped rings 5, 6 are mounted at the both ends and in the center of a wall of a receiving chamber to prevent fluids from leaking around a filter. A filter housing has a fluid entrance opening 7 and an exit opening 8, the filter cartridge has one filter element 11 and two end caps 13, 14, and the end cap 13 has an annular opening connected with a filter chamber 12. The fluid entrance opening is connected with the annular opening in the filter chamber, contaminated fluids are drawn through the entrance opening 7 and proceed through the filter to the fluid exit opening 8. The replacement of the filter takes place by pressing-in a new filter cartridge at the top of the filter housing and pressing out of a soiled filter from the underside of the housing without needing contact of the soiled filter with hand.
