Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber to be used in a suspension for an automobile and have a stable damping force and excellent durability.
SOLUTION: In a shock absorber consisting of a large diameter cylinder 2, a suspension cylinder 4, and a small diameter cylinder 3, the small diameter cylinder 3 having diameter slightly shorter than the inside diameter of the suspension cylinder 4 is inserted in the suspension cylinder 4 suspending in the large diameter cylinder 2. The small diameter cylinder 3 is filled with oil, and the large diameter cylinder 2 is filled with oil and gas.
