PURPOSE: To perform strong dehydration and filtration and to ensure the removal and fall of filter cake from filter cloth.

CONSTITUTION: A filter cylinder 1 is mounted on the mounting stage part of a connecting ring 23 fixed to the upper surface of a bottom board 2 through which a drain hole 21 is formed and connected to the board 2 with a bolt 24 to form a filter. A massive plate 3 having a drain hole 31 is mounted on the bottom board 2 and a guide pin 32 attached projectingly on its back surface is inserted in a guide cylinder 25 of the bottom board 2. A draining net 4 and a filter cloth 5 are mounted on the massive plate 3 and the filter cloth 5 is fixed on the mounting stage part at its peripheral edge part to form a filter part which is loosely spread. A vibration plate 71 of a vibrator 7 is abutted on the guide pin 32 projecting downwards from the guide cylinder 25. After primary filtration is finished, spaces between the filter cakes are eliminated by vibration of the filter part through the massive plate 3 by the vibrator 7 to perform secondary filtration. The filter is inverted and at the same time, the massive plate 3 falls by its weight to give impact to the filter cloth 5 which is pushed down, causing the removal of the filter cake stuck on the filter cloth 5 to be aided, permitting it to fall.
