To provide a fin material made from aluminum which prevents unpleasant odor and maintains excellent hydrophilic property for a long period of time.
The fin material 10 made from aluminum has a corrosion-resistant coating layer 2 formed on the surface of an aluminum plate 1 or an aluminum alloy plate 1, and a hydrophilic coating layer 3 obtained from a resin composition containing a resin binder 3a and a porous fine particle 3b, which is formed on the surface of the corrosion-resistant coating layer 2. The corrosion-resistant coating layer 2 includes a predetermined resin composition. The resin binder 3a is a polymer or a copolymer composed of monomers having a predetermined functional group respectively or of a mixture composed of at least one or more kinds of the polymer and copolymer. The porous fine particle 3b includes water-insoluble acrylic resin or alginic acid resin.
