Abstract:
To provide a fin and tube type heat exchanger in which a gap between fin materials inevitably formed between the surface of a heat-transfer pipe and two adjoining fin materials is sealed with thermoplastic resin to enable superior anti-corrosion performance for a long period to be realized even under a severe environment and to provide a process of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fin-and-tube type heat exchanger and a process of manufacturing the same in which the fin-and-tube type heat exchanger comprises a heat transfer pipe made of copper-based material and many fin members made of aluminum-based material assembled through a tube expansion connecting method. A contact surface of a collar part of assembled hole peripheral part in contact with the surface of the heat transfer pipe and an adjoining fin material contact surface in contact with the adjoining fin members are provided with a resin layer made of thermoplastic resin, and a resin melting and adhering part for sealing a clearance between the two adjoining fin members is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
