Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder system that can prevent an increase in size in the height direction and increase the angle of field of a video that is observed together with a subject image and formed on a display element, and an optical instrument using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a finder system including: an observation optical system that forms a subject image formed on a predetermined surface by an objective optical system 1 into an erect image by an erect image forming member 4 and causes the erect image to transmit through a first optical surface 6c inclined relative to the optical axis to observe the erect image through an eye piece 8; and a display optical system that reflects display information on a display body 9 on the first optical surface to observe the display information together with the subject image in the same visual field through the eye piece, where the display optical system includes an optical member that includes two or more reflection surfaces therein sequentially along an optical path between the display body and the eye piece, and a lens group that includes one or more lenses and has a positive refractive power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
