Title:
FINE AGGREGATE FORMED BY CRUSHING RHYOLITE WELDED TUFF AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2598616
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to inexpensively and stably supply fine aggregate for future as well by separating the crushed stones of rhyolite welded tuff in welded parts.
CONSTITUTION: The rhyolite welded tuff 2 mined by open-cut mining is crushed by a jaw crusher A to the extent at which the crushed stones are chargeable into a cone crusher B to obtain raw ores 2a. These raw ores 2a are subjected to secondary crushing to small pebbles 2b of a diameter of 50 to 100m by the cone crusher B and thereafter, the pebbles are charged into a hammer crusher C where the weakly welded parts among the crystal grains are subjected to ternary crushing. The fine aggregate 1 consisting of crystal groups 5 to 7 of grain sizes ≤5mm, most of which consist of high-temp. type quartz 5, potassium feldspar 6 and plagioclase 7 is obtd.
