PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase blanking accuracy of a product by preventing deformation of a bridge part connecting the product and the base material, in blanking the product in a semiblanked state.
SOLUTION: In lowering an upper die 7 equipped with a punch 29, together with an elevation base 6, and blanking a product from a metallic coil material C in a semiblanked state in cooperation with a counter-punch 31 provided in a lower die 1, a pad 22 is fixed integrally against the upper die 7. Immediately after the elevation base 6 starts rising, the pad 22 rises integrally with the upper die 7, preventing the deformation of the bridge part; if the elevation base 6 further rises, a slider 11 is pushed by a cam member 17 and moves to the left, with the cam 112 and the cam follower 101 disengaged with each other; then, a pressurizing plate 10 connected integrally to the pad 22 lowers by the pressing force of a pressing means 18, with the pad 22 thereby lowering, so that the product is detached from the punch 29. The semiblanked product is fully blanked in the next process by a punch for final blanking, and falls on a discharging conveyor.
