Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine diameter forming method in which a fine diameter part having a circular section is cheaply formed on a stick shaped machining material with a small force and, even if fine diameter parts have different diameters along with axis direction, the fine diameter parts may be easily formed with common forming rolls.SOLUTION: Used is a machining facility comprising: a holding member rotatably holding machining material 42; a forming rolls 22, 26 arranged in circumferential direction of the machining material 42; a relative movement means moving the forming rolls 22, 26 relatively each other in axis direction and perpendicular direction to the axis; and a rotatively driving means rotatively driving the forming rolls 22, 26. A fine diameter forming operation in which the forming rolls 22, 26 rotated for rotating and feeding the stick shaped machining material 42 having a solid structure is on its axis is downwardly pressed is performed on the machining material 42 along with the axis direction so as to form a fine diameter part 72A entirely on a planed machining range longer in axis direction than the width of the forming rolls 22, 26.
