Title:
FINE GRAIN SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2524038
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a smoke sensor which is small in size and high in accuracy with good response.
CONSTITUTION: A box casing 2 has a cylindrical inner side face 2a and inner flat faces 2b, 2c crossing the inner side face 2a. The boundary of the inner flat faces 2b, 2c intersects the center line of the inner side face 2a. The inner flat face 2b is provided with an opening 2d through which smoke enters and an opening 2e through which smoke flows out. The angles θ2, θ3 of the first and second inner flat faces 2b, 2c to the center line of the box casing 2 are respectively 45°, 100°. Each of the faces 2a, 2b, 2c is painted black and dull finished. A detecting member 4 is arranged inside the box casing 2, which has an optical holder 4a. The optical holder 4a adjusts and fixes the optical axes of an infrared light source 4b and a photodetector 4c. In this case, a line to equally divide the optical axis of each of the infrared light source 4b and the photodetector 4c is agreed with the center line of the box casing 2.
