Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a fine metal particle dispersion liquid capable of forming a thin film on a polycarbonate substrate, which is a material of an optical recording medium like an optical disc executing a write-once memory by using fine particle of gold or silver which absorbs a specific area of visible light, and to provide a manufacturing method of an optical recording medium like an optical disc with a thin film of fine metal particle dispersion liquid on the polycarbonate substrate.

This is related to an optical recording medium 1 having an optical recording layer 3 formed on a polycarbonate substrate 2. For the optical recording medium 1, the optical recording layer 3, made of a thin film of a pasty mixed liquid which is made by dispersing at least one kind of fine metal particles chose from gold or silver in alcohol with low boiling point and soluble polymer, is formed on the polycarbonate substrate 2.
