Abstract:
To provide a method and a device capable of separating fine particles in an operating condition suitable to properties of raw water without using excessive amount of body feed filter aid.SOLUTION: A fine particle separation method for supplying raw water to which a body feed filter aid is added from an upstream side of a precoat layer to a spring filter having a surface on which the precoat layer including a filter aid is formed to remove fine particles in the raw water includes processes of: measuring a concentration of fine particles concentration, the number of fine particles and a particle size in the raw water; obtaining a development coefficient of filter resistance of the raw water on the basis of relation between the concentration of fine particles, the number of fine particles and the particle size obtained beforehand and a development coefficient of filter resistance; and controlling a filtering condition of the spring filter on the basis of the development coefficient of filter resistance of the raw water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
