PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of a regulation operation by a method wherein in a rotary press installed with two printing plates in parallel to the axial direction of the plate cylinder main body, a system wherein a printing plate can be finely regulated against the other printing plate in a circumferential direction and in a axial direction is installed.
CONSTITUTION: The plate cylinder main body 1 of this rotary press consists of a shaft part 2a, a main cylinder 2 formed into one body with the shaft part 2a, and a fine regulation drum 3 which is freely movable inserted in a small diameter part 2b of the main cylinder 2. Two printing plates 4 and 5 are mounted on each outer peripheral face of the main cylinder 2 and the fine regulation drum 3. And in the small diameter part 2b, a fine regulation device which is composed of a circumferential direction regulation drum, a circumferential direction movement bridge, a circumferential direction operational sleeve, an axial direction regulation lever, and an axcial direction operational tube, is installed. With this, during the operation of the printing press, a fine regulation of the regulation drum 3 for a circumferential direction and a shaft direction can be performed, thus, enabling the regulation operation efficiency in a short time.
