Title:
FINE WOODEN PIECE PROCESSED TO HAVE LIQUID STAGNATING PROPERTY AND TREATMENT OF WASTE WATER BY USING SUCH FINE PIECE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3276488
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide fine wooden pieces processed to have a liquid stagnating property having extremely high performance to treat waste water and a treatment method of waste water which uses such fine pieces and lessens the amt. of the sludge to be generated.
CONSTITUTION: Plural pieces of the fine wooden pieces are bonded to form the thorn like fine wooden pieces which are processed to have the liquid stagnating property, have grain sizes substantially in a range of 0.5 to 5mm and have many thorn-like projections and liquid stagnating parts. This method comprises injecting waste water to be poured into a waste water treating tank packed with such fine wooden pieces without direct contact with the atm. air and subjecting the waste water to an aerobic treatment and anaerobic treatment successively with lapse of time, thereby executing the microorganismic engineering treatment of the waste water with high efficiency and the digestion treatment of the sludge.
