To provide a finger apparatus that can comparatively simply deal with the damage of an elastic member or the like in a unit with the elastic member installed on the base end of a rod member, and to provide a self-propelling type screen.
The finger apparatus includes: a holding member 22 which is installed in a vibration type sieve device 4, holds, in a cantilever manner, the base ends of a plurality of rod members 21 arranged in parallel; and a horizontal beam member 23 to which the holding member 22 is fixed, and which is extended in a direction orthogonal to the elongating direction of the rod member 21, wherein teeth of a comb is formed by the plurality of rod members 21. The holding member 22 includes a wedge connecting part which is installed on the base end of the rod members 21. The wedge connecting part is equipped with an elastic member 25 having a tapered face 25a on top, a wedge member 26 having on the lower face a tapered face 26a that is joined with the tapered face 25a of the elastic member 25, and a force imparting means that imparts a force for pressurizing the wedge member 26 to the elastic member 25 and that includes a bolt 28 for fixing the elastic member 25 and the wedge member 26.
